My Top 5 Beauty Picks

23/08/2015
Just like any other girl who LOVES make-up, I always look for new products to use to 'put my face on'. So, I've decided to pick out my top 5 beauty products in my make-up bag. Why? Because I want to share with you what I love about them....and sort my bag out...

Revlon ColorStay

This is my all-time favourite product in the world, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! I use this liquid foundation daily and have done since the age of 12 and I have always found it hard to try other products. The liquid isn't too thick or too light, so it has a perfect coverage! Nobody wants to look like they are caked in make-up, just like nobody wants their make-up to look like you haven't put it on properly. This foundation blends lovely whether you apply it the old school way by using your fingertips, or by using a foundation brush or beauty blender. I used to apply the foundation with my fingertips for years, up until about a year or two ago when I finally decided to invest in some brushes, but it blends exactly the same! Personally, the only downsides of this product is that it doesn't have a pump so you have to be very careful you don't put too much on. Also, it doesn't stay the full 24hours that the product says. But it does stay a good 16hours if you don't touch your face throughout the day and to make sure that it doesn't move from my face at all I like to use a setting powder.

SEVENTEEN Doll'd Up Mascara

Ok, seriously, this is the best mascara I have ever come across. For years I used the big chunky mascaras, going from Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascara's to Collection Mascara's.. We've all been there! But around a year ago I came across this wonderful mascara! Unlike the other mascara's I've tried, this doesn't make my every lash clump together to make it look as if they are three massive lashes and you don't have to put loads on at all. In fact, every lash counts and it doesn't only make the lashes curl, it also makes them longer. There are no downfalls to this product whatsoever and I highly recommend this product to everyone!

Maybelline Palette The Nudes

I bought this product about two months ago in my search for an alternative Naked 2 palette for the time being and this has honestly saved my life! The packaging is so pretty and don't get me started on the palette shades! You can obviously see which shades are my favourite as I use them daily. There are 12 shades and 4 different textures which I absolutely love! The eye shadow lasts all day and the pale shades are perfect for an eye shadow base if you don't use any sort of base eye shadow already. You also don't have to worry about buying another brush or any brush at all as it already comes with a small brush, but I only use that to put the base on as I find it doesn't make the shades blend well otherwise. A massive downfall to this palette is that it doesn't tell me what shades they are so I can't compare them to any other palette, but I will say that I'd happily use this over and over again.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

This is a great concealer as it blends well with my foundation. I find that its more of a creamy concealer rather than a liquid concealer (not that there's much difference) but, you really have to blend it so it doesn't make any lines that you don't want. It's medium coverage so it goes great with any medium coverage foundation. I use two shades of this concealer as I find that they are good for contouring. The only major downfall is that if you don't blend the product in well it does look greasy within time.

SEVENTEEN Make Your Mark Eyeliner Pen

This is my all time favourite eyeliner. Me and pencil eyeliner do not get on at all, so I tried the pen versions and I love it. This is my favourite eyeliner pen as the shape of it isn't complicated and it's simple for what I want to do and I have been using this for the last couple of months and it goes a very long way!
